In this article, we are talking about more Peugeots produced by Iran Khodro Company of Iran, not exactly Peugeot of France.
1-Feeling of a bump when staying in long traffic and the gearbox heating up (Peugeot 206 and 207 cars)
This problem exists in all Peugeot 206 and 207 cars with automatic transmission from standstill to movement (as if a car hits you from behind). In fact, this problem exists in all AL4 gearboxes and is a factory defect that we at the engineer Aram repair shop fix this problem permanently during the overhaul of the gearbox with the changes we make in the gearbox. Most of our customers have previously spent a lot of unnecessary money on this issue and have not achieved any results, whereas with a one-time overhaul of the Peugeot 206 automatic transmission at our repair shop, they have been relieved of such problems forever. 2-Knocking or gas leakage from gear 1 to 2 when the gearbox is hot (Peugeot 206 and 207 cars):
Like the previous case, this is also a factory and design defect and will be permanently eliminated with changes in the gearbox.
3-Knocking in reverse gear (Peugeot 206 and 207 cars)
This is also a factory defect of AL4 gearboxes that will be permanently eliminated with changes in the gearbox system.n It should be noted that Engineer Aram has the highest degree in mechanical engineering and automatic transmission from England and the United States and has 50 years of experience in this field in Iran and the United States, and the changes in the gearbox are completely scientific and in accordance with the current knowledge of the automotive industry.n 4-Transmission overheating and automatic transmission cooling system: n In all automatic transmissions, due to the type of power transmission (torque converter), which is the main factor in heat generation in the automatic transmission, the transmission oil is cooled by the radiator water. In French cars available in Iran that have AL4 transmissions, this is cooled by a small radiator installed on the transmission. In Peugeot 206 cars, due to the weakness of the cooling system, especially Type 4 , the transmission overheats (hot), which causes slow gear shifting, a feeling of impact, and in worse cases, the transmission does not shift. Of course, in models from 2006 onwards, this problem has been largely resolved by changing the computer system and replacing the transmission cooling radiator with a larger type.
